THE DRUM DOCTOR


Mechanical Advantage is the founder, designer and manufacturer of the Drum Doctor. This machine is designed to repair channelizer drums on or off the worksite. This labor-saving device reshapes damaged drums from the inside. The Drum Doctor was designed to be a low cost solution to drum replacement. We offer a manual and pneumatic version to best suite your current operations:

  • The manual version is a cost effective solution to handle low-volume operations and works best on light duty drums. This version uses the weight of the operator to drive the machine and requires no external power source.
  • The pneumatic version is great option for high volume jobs and to reshape heavier-duty drums. This version uses air cylinders to power the machine and requires access to an air compressor.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Place damaged drum over the Drum Dr.

Step 2: Press down on drum and push forward to activate the arms to expand from the inside. Rotate drum as necessary.

Step 3: Remove repaired drum and replace on job site or back into inventory.
